Embrace Pet Insurance Company is based in Ohio and offers customizable pet insurance in every state. The pet health insurance coverage plans offer families flexible pricing options. Embrace added a wellness program in 2009. The program has no deductible, copay or waiting period. For every policy sold, the company will donate $2 to a pet related charity.

Pre-existing Conditions:

A pre-existing condition is an illness or injury your pet had prior to enrolling in the health insurance program. Embrace covers some pre-existing conditions (after a 12 month waiting period) if the conditions are considered to be curable. Examples of curable conditions are: Respiratory infections, Urinary tract infections, Vomiting and/or diarrhea, and Bladder infections. There are others these are just a few examples.

Conditions Embrace considers Incurable will not be covered at any time. Examples of incurable conditions are: Orthopedic illness or injury on the opposite side of a prior injury, Allergies, Cancer , Diabetes, Lipomas or skin lumps, Hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, Urinary or bladder crystals or blockages. Again, there are  others these are just a few examples.

Alternative Therapy, Breed Specific and Genetic conditions, Cancer Treatments, ·  Diagnostic testing and imaging, Surgery, hospitalization, and nursing care

Who is Eligible?

• Mixed breed dogs aged 8 or younger
• Pure breed dogs aged 6 or younger
• AND your pet has not been diagnosed with or showing symptoms of diabetes or Cushing’s disease
